What You Actually Get

Straight talk on what Pinkway builds into every saw.

63cc Engine, 8500 RPM

3.5 HP pulls a 20-inch bar through hardwood without bogging. Owners compare it favorably to saws costing 3× as much.

Dual-Bar Options

The 63CC-K and 63CC-G kits ship with both an 18" and a 20" bar — swap based on what you're cutting that day.

Auto Chain Oiler

Keeps the bar and chain lubricated without you thinking about it. Extends chain life and reduces wear on the bar.

Anti-Vibration Grip

Non-slip handle damps engine vibration so your hands aren't numb after a cord of firewood. Makes long sessions survivable.

I'm a "seasoned" wood cutter — I own four Husqy 455 Ranchers and three log splitters, so I know my way around a saw. Ordered this one based on YouTube videos raving about the 60cc, 20in, $130 Pinkway. Showed up packaged nicely, came with a chain, bar, scrench, assembled easy. Pul…

Unboxing review: all the parts seem shockingly good quality and finish. Good design — the anti-vibration will be nice. Bottom of the saw holds the bar removal tool, didn't even notice it came with the gas/oil mixing bottle — that's great. Grip is excellent. I'm sure the metal isn…

Still breaking in, so not a ton of time on it, but motor has good power. Took a bit to start the first time, but after that pretty easy. Chain is good and sharp. Cheap Chinese chainsaw but so far impressed. Update 10/20/24: Put more time on this cheap chicom saw. Love this thing.…

Steve

Well packed. Easy to assemble — put the chain and bar on like any farmer's chainsaw. Started after 6 pulls. Let it warm up 5 minutes, turned it off, and walked to a hurricane-downed limb. This little monster took care of that big limb in 5 minutes. Update: used this farm monster…

It does the job. Gone through about 10 tanks of fuel and have no complaints. Oil cap broke the second time I filled it, but that's the only problem I've had with it. Does the job well and doesn't cost $700-$800 to do it. I'm impressed — I have a Stihl, a Jonsered, and a Poulan Pr…

Power was good. Not too heavy. Cuts right through 20-inch logs with ease.

Starting Your Pinkway — The Right Way

Most first-time owners over-pull the cord. Follow this sequence and a cold saw fires in 3–5 pulls, every time.

  1. 1

Top up the fuel tank with fresh 2-stroke mix. Fill the bar oil reservoir too — both caps are color-coded.

  2. 2

Flip the on/off switch to ON and engage the chain brake.

  3. 3

    Push the choke to FULL.

  4. 4

Brace the saw against the ground with your foot through the rear handle. Pull the cord until you hear a pop or sputter (usually 2–3 pulls).

  5. 5

Move the choke to HALF (or OFF, depending on model).

  6. 6

Pull again until it runs. Blip the throttle once to clear the choke fully.

  7. 7

Let it idle 30 seconds. Disengage the chain brake. You're cutting.

Safety first. Chaps, eye and ear protection, gloves, boots. Never run a saw above shoulder height or from a ladder — rent a pole saw instead.

Starting a Pinkway chainsaw — step-by-step guide

About Pinkway

Pinkway builds chainsaws for the other 90% — people who don't cut trees for a living, but who still have to clear a downed limb after a storm, cut a cord of firewood before winter, or keep a farm fence line clean.

A pro saw costs $400–$800. Renting one costs $60 a day. Pinkway builds a 63cc, 20-inch saw for the price of a one-day rental — and it starts on the first pull three weeks after you last touched it.

We're honest about what this is: a budget saw that punches above its weight. You can see it in the reviews — people who own Husqvarna 455s and Stihl MS 271s keep Pinkway saws around as backup or for rough work they don't want to abuse their pro saw doing. Farmers throw one in the pickup and leave it there.

If you need a saw that you'll run 40 hours a week, buy a pro brand. If you need a capable saw for weekend work and storm cleanup without spending rent money, Pinkway is exactly that.

First-pull starts. Real cutting power. Priced so anyone can own one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Five models use the same 63cc engine (3.5 HP, 8500 RPM, 20" bar). The 63CC-K and 63CC-G come as dual-bar kits with both 18" and 20" bars plus two chains — good if you want to switch between limbing and felling. The 63ACE, 63ACG, and 63ACK are single-kit versions with different finishes. The 26CC (26ACC) is a lighter top-handle saw with 10" and 12" chains, built for pruning and one-hand work rather than heavy cutting.

The 63cc models are full-size saws — capable but not featherweight, so work through the safety section of the manual before you cut. Many first-time owners start with the 26CC for pruning because it's one-hand capable and easier to control. In either case, wear chaps, eye and ear protection, and gloves.

The owner's manual specifies 25:1 while the saw itself may have a 50:1 decal — this confuses a lot of first-time owners. Many experienced owners run 40:1 or 25:1 during break-in for extra lubrication, then settle on what their 2-stroke oil recommends. Use ethanol-free gasoline when available, and always use fresh mix. Bar and chain oil goes in the other tank.

Yes — a new chain stretches as it seats. Plan to re-tension after the first few cuts and again every tank or two for the first hour of use. After break-in, check tension at each refuel.

The 63CC-K and 63CC-G include both an 18" and a 20" bar with two chains, plus the scrench and a fuel mix bottle. The 63ACE / 63ACG / 63ACK include a single 20" bar, chain, scrench, and mix bottle. The 26CC top-handle saw ships with 10" and 12" chain options and the usual accessories. Check the product page for the exact contents of the SKU you choose.

Honestly? It's a budget saw. Pinkway competes on price — think $100-$150 range versus $400+ for a comparable pro saw. Owners who own both often describe it as surprisingly capable for the money, not as a replacement for their 455 Rancher or MS 271. If you cut a few cords a year or need a backup, it earns its keep. If you run a saw daily for a living, buy the pro brand.

Clean the air filter after every few tanks, keep the chain sharp (dull chains are the #1 cause of kickback), check bar oil every time you refuel, and drain old fuel before long storage. Keep the bar tip from touching dirt or metal — that's how chains get wrecked fast.

Yes, the Pinkway manufacturer provides a standard warranty through the Amazon listing. For warranty or defect claims on an Amazon purchase, contact Amazon customer service directly — they handle replacements and returns.

At a minimum: chainsaw chaps, safety glasses or a face shield, hearing protection, cut-resistant gloves, and sturdy boots (ideally steel toe). Add a helmet if felling. Never run a chainsaw above shoulder height or from a ladder. The top-handle 26CC is designed for one-hand use in trees but still requires both hands on flat work.

All orders are fulfilled by Amazon. Prime members typically get 1–2 day delivery, and standard shipping runs 3–5 business days. Check the product page for exact delivery estimates for your ZIP code.
